It's a game on dreamwidth where the premise is that characters have been stolen from their own universes to become musician/popstars.

It's based on Interstella 5555! I'm playing Saitama, Mira is playing Genos. We're getting towards an end to the game, though.

oh my god so it's like that episode of Rick and Morty where a bunch of planets get stolen to compete at planet-wide pop-idol-dom with the alternative of the planet being fucking vaporized but maybe a little less intense

It's a bit like that, yep! And lmao yeah games usually have an AC, but I've been playing on LiveJournal and DreamWidth games for so long that I'm used to that format. I've been RPing in them since 2008!
